How to write a blog a week - EC Writing Services Elizabeth Campbell

My friends – happy new year! Small business owners – including those who are sole operators – I have a very valuable piece of information for you to help you fall in love when it comes to blog content writing.

Hands up if you think it’s hard to write a blog every week (that’s how often you should be doing it). Thought so – a fair few of you, hey? Well, I have a secret recipe when it comes to writing a blog every week that will make it quick and easy for you.

Rewrite what you have already done.

There’s no need to reinvent the wheel. If you have a list of blogs that you have already written, then it is a much easier way of writing for the web.

Of course, it can’t be duplicate content – Google doesn’t like that. But you can add new info to an old blog such as:

  • Case studies
  • Testimonials
  • Fast facts
  • Tips and tricks
  • Statistics
  • Infographics
  • Videos…the list in endless!

It is truly the best piece of advice I can give you from a content writer’s point of view. I know it can be time consuming when you running your own website and writing a blog every week can just be more hassle than it’s worth. Well, that’s what I’m told.

I don’t see it like that because I love writing, so writing a blog every week for me is like being a kid in a candy shop (PS – sometimes I’m naughty and miss a week here and there, especially over Christmas. Oops! So don’t beat yourself up too much).

But it doesn’t have to be hard. Have a list of topics ready to go and then simply rework and reword them.

My Content Creator is a real gem when it comes to coming up with topics. It’s all yours. PS – You can get this inside my Mini Course and 8-week Content 2 Ca$h online course. I get great feedback about it so I know it works and I use it for my clients.

That’s it this week guys … short and sweet to ease you back into the new year!
